- Preferred contractors vs open marketplace?
- Day-to-day work flows through your ranked preferred book. RFQ and marketplace paths exist when coverage fails or procurement requires quotes — not as a lead directory for every job.
- Does this work for a single site?
- Yes. Single-site teams feel coverage gaps too. You get the same chase and proof mechanics without portfolio noise until you add locations.
- Is proof required before complete?
- Yes, when you configure chase-to-proof on the template. The work order cannot move to complete until required photos, checklists, or contractor-uploaded compliance files satisfy the gate — OpsChase does not issue those documents for you.
- Where do TMV, fire equipment and essential safety evidence live?
- On the work order and in the close-out pack — thermostatic mixing valve service records, fire contractor outcomes and essential safety measures your templates require upload before complete, then export with chase history. OpsChase is not a separate TMV, fire or essential-safety product and does not issue AFSS or trade tickets.
