Aged care and retirement living
Prove the preferred tradie actually finished.
Signing a contractor in at reception tells you somebody arrived. A job pack tells you who was chased, when they confirmed, what they fixed, and whether they were covered to be there at all. One click, one file, per job or per site-week.
Built from example jobs at a fictional home so you can read the format before you talk to us. Nothing to install and no account needed.
What is in the pack
Who was chased, and when they confirmed
Every assignment, reminder, escalation and acceptance on the job, timestamped with the person who acted. Not a mailbox search after the fact.
What they left behind as proof
Before and after photos, fire equipment and essential safety outcomes, TMV service records, test-and-tag certificates where required, commissioning records and sign-off from the nurse or facilities manager — on the work order and in the job pack, not a compliance spreadsheet. OpsChase does not issue AFSS, TMV tickets or regulator certificates.
Whether they were allowed on site
Insurance, licence, police check and induction status for the contractor who actually attended, as at the day they attended.
Where the expiry risk sits now
Anything current, expiring or already expired on that preferred contractor, so a renewal is a reminder rather than a finding.
How the pack gets filled
- 1
Gate the book
Insurance, licences, references, police checks and inductions sit against each trade organisation with a status and an expiry. A contractor whose cover has lapsed cannot be assigned or accept — the block is on the record, not on somebody remembering.
- 2
Chase attend, then proof
Each job carries a response and attend-by expectation. Quiet contractors get reminded, then escalated to the trade office, then to your ops managers. Once they are on site the chase keeps going until photos, fire and essential safety or TMV certificates and any other proof your template requires are uploaded on the work order.
- 3
Close only on proof
Complete is blocked until the proof your template requires is attached. A job that says done is a job with evidence behind it.
- 4
Export the pack
One click on a job, a home or a week produces the pack. Hand it to a quality reviewer, a board sub-committee or a family member asking what happened in Room 212.
Who it helps
Residents and families
Hot water back on in Wing B, a nurse call point tested with the nurse standing there — with the record to show it, not a promise that someone attended.
Quality and clinical governance
Strengthened aged care standards ask providers to show that the environment is safe and maintained. A pack per job is a far easier answer than a folder assembled the week a reviewer arrives.
Facilities and regional ops
One board across every home: open jobs, attend status, chase steps and overdue proof. You find the home that is waiting before the home calls you.
Sales and prospective residents
Tours and sales conversations turn on trust. Being able to say how quickly a fault gets attended, and how it gets proven closed, is a stronger answer than a maintenance brochure.
